I create participatory murals through workshop-based projects, in schools, educational, social and community settings, as well as in public spaces. Adapted to all ages, these projects invite everyone to take part in a collective adventure, from the initial idea to the final creation.

Through my universe of colorful, joyful, and expressive characters and monsters, each participant imagines and draws their own character, as a form of imaginary self-portrait. Based on these creations, I compose a collective mural in which everyone can find their place, before the group takes part in bringing it to life.

Each mural becomes a unique artwork, shaped by the place and the participants, carrying connection, pride, and memory.

How does a participatory mural workshop take place?

1. Discovering the artistic universe

The project begins with a session introducing my universe: characters, colorful monsters, expressive shapes, bright colors, and free imagination. This moment allows participants to enter the atmosphere of the project, understand the creative approach, and imagine themselves in the mural to come.

2. Character creation

Each participant imagines and draws their own character, as a form of imaginary self-portrait. The goal is not to “draw well,” but to create a personal, expressive, and unique figure, using shapes, emotions, colors, and details that reflect who they are.

3. Mural composition

Based on the sketches created during the workshop, I compose a coherent collective image. Each character finds its place within a shared mural, designed in connection with the location, the group, and the energy of the project.

4. Drawing the outlines on the wall or support

Once the composition has been defined, the mural is outlined on the wall or chosen surface. This step allows the final artwork to gradually take shape and prepares the color work with the participants.

5. Collective coloring

Participants take part in coloring the mural. Depending on the project, they may choose certain colors, fill in shapes, paint the characters, and contribute to the overall atmosphere of the artwork.

6. Outlines and finishing touches

The mural gains its full strength through the outlines, details, and finishing touches. Participants can also take part in this stage, guided according to their age, the surface, and the technical requirements of the project.

Over the course of the sessions, everyone takes part in creating the mural, from the initial idea to the final realization. The workshop becomes a moment of discovery, expression, and cooperation, where each contribution finds its place within a collective artwork.
